Opening ZIP Files on Mac

Many of the files downloaded from Design Bundles come as Zip Files. This is a common way of distributing multiple files which are contained within a folder. The contents within are 'compressed' which can save Hard Drive Space. In this tutorial, we will show you how easy it is to unzip files on your Mac computer or laptop.

For this tutorial we will be using the Boho Mug Mockup bundle from Michéle Kae.

Step 1: Download Your Files

Downloading from Design Bundles is super easy. First click on the Green Download Files button, and you’ll see the files drop down below. Click on the zip folder.

If you’re on Safari, you’ll be able to click on the download arrow icon and see your folder.

If you double click on your download you’ll see it’s already been unzipped for you automatically!

Step 2: Unzip Your Folder

If you downloaded on Chrome or another browser you may have a Zipped folder in your downloads. To unzip, all you’ll need to do is double click on the file or right click and hit Open.

And that’s it! Unzipping on a Mac computer could not be any easier! Now your files are ready to be used in your craft projects.
